The first is that realisations are now being driven by equity as opposed to lower IRR categories like credit, which supports the outlook of 25%+ of revenue to come from performance fees. This is a change from our previous coverage . While PE is coming back online gradually across the board , Partners Group seems to be ahead of the industry both in realisations and therefore also in fundraising, as returned capital gets added to and redeployed. This puts them in a favourable competitive position in finding deals. The quarter demonstrates that Partners Group is well positioned with respect to key quality considerations in their portfolio, which is likely the dimension along which realisation is bifurcating in the industry. Latest Disclosures The first thing to highlights is record fundraising. The industry is not back at pre-2022 levels so this is them getting ahead of the curve. We had $26 billion in fundraising during 2025, which represents our highest year for new client demand in our 30-year history. Q4 Guidance Call Realisations have been making raising new capital possible most likely, with less needed reliance on secondaries which for many others has been a key way for LPs to get liquidity. The realisations are now being concentrated in private equity, which is a good improvements from the last quarter as this was the area that was the most impaired in the last couple of years in terms of market and liquidity. Beazer's struggling in the face of weak demand and a price war on new homes. Beazer Homes (BZH 9.13%) stock tumbled 11% through 12:20 p.m. ET Friday after missing badly on its fiscal Q1 2026 earnings report yesterday. Heading into the report, analysts forecast Beazer would lose $0.50 per share on $423.2 million in sales. In fact, losses were twice as bad as expected -- $1.13 per share -- and sales came in at only $363.5 million. Beazer Q1 earnings CEO Allan Merrill blamed "persistent demand challenges and elevated incentives in the market" for the poor results. Beazer closed 23% fewer home sales in the quarter, resulting in a 22% decline in revenue. Earnings didn't decline as much as unit sales, though, so it would appear Beazer didn't drop its own prices too drastically -- just had trouble moving inventory in the face of competitors doing so. This would align with Beazer's goal to "driv[e] sequential margin improvements through the remainder of fiscal 2026." Management aims to hold the line on prices while cutting costs. With luck, Beazer will be able to avoid further "litigation-related charge[s]", which the company said cost it $0.23 per share in additional losses. Such was the case with Cardinal Health ( CAH ) for many years before it finally caught a bid. March WTI crude oil (CLH26) today is up +0.45 (+0.69%), and March RBOB gasoline (RBH26) is up +0.0193 (+1.00%). Crude oil and gasoline prices are moving higher today, but remain below Thursday's highs. Geopolitical risks in the Middle East are underpinning crude prices after President Trump warned Iran to make a nuclear deal or face military strikes. However, gains in crude today are limited due to a stronger dollar, and after President Trump said he had overnight discussions with Iran and indicated he expected them to continue. Don’t Miss a Day: On Thursday, crude oil climbed to a 4.25-month high and gasoline rose to a 2-month high after President Trump said that US ships he ordered to the Middle East were ready to fulfill their mission "with speed and violence, if necessary" if Iran fails to agree to a nuclear deal. An attack on Iran, OPEC's fourth-largest producer, could disrupt the country's crude supplies and potentially close the Strait of Hormuz, through which about 20% of the world's oil passes. Crude oil also has support after Russia recently threw cold water on hopes of a breakthrough in peace talks with Ukraine, after the Kremlin said the "territorial issue" remains unresolved with Ukraine, and there's "no hope of achieving a long-term settlement" to the war until Russia's demand for territory in Ukraine is accepted. The outlook for the Russia-Ukraine war to continue will keep restrictions on Russian crude in place and is bullish for oil prices. The IEA last Wednesday cut its 2026 global crude surplus estimate to 3.7 million bpd from last month's estimate of 3.815 million bpd. On January 13, the EIA raised its 2026 US crude production estimate to 13.59 million bpd from 13.53 million bpd last month, and cut its US 2026 energy consumption estimate to 95.37 (quadrillion btu) from 95.68 last month. Not many chefs working in small, family-run restaurants expect global megastars to turn up for dinner and to design them a menu from scratch. But that’s what happened to Simona Di Dio last weekend, when she cooked dishes inspired by her Italian grandmother’s recipes for Madonna, who sat on the single wooden dining table in their cosy, candlelit Italian restaurant in Margate’s old town. “It was really informal and really lovely, and relaxed. It was really special and she was really nice,” said Di Dio. (RTTNews) - European stocks closed higher on Monday with investors largely making their moves reacting or looking ahead to earnings updates, and digesting some corporate news. Investors also awaited the European Central Bank's upcoming decision, expecting a 25 bps rate cut later this week. Data showing much less than expected growth in China's exports and imports in September weighed a bit on sentiment. A much-anticipated Chinese stimulus announcement over the weekend also failed to inspire confidence among investors. The pan European Stoxx 600 climbed 0.53%. The U.K.'s FTSE 100 gained 0.47%, Germany's DAX ended up 0.69% and France's CAC 40 closed 0.32% up, while Switzerland's SMI advanced 0.86%. Among other markets in Europe, Belgium, Ireland, Netherlands, Russia, Spain and Sweden ended higher. Austria, Finland, Greece, Iceland, Poland, Portugal and Turkiye closed weak, while Denmark and Norway ended flat. Shares of designer goods manufacturers fell as investors remained jittery over anemic China demand for European designer goods. In the UK market, Vistry Group climbed nearly 4.5%. Bunzl, SSE, BAE Systems and Severn Trent gained 2 to 2.5%, while United Utilities advanced nearly 2%. Pershing Square Holdings, Sage Group, AstraZeneca, Smiths Group, Coca-Cola HBC, Centrica, EasyJet, Sainsbury (J), Hikma Pharmaceuticals, Diploma, Intertek Group, Compass Group, National Grid and Halma climbed 1 to 1.6%. Mulberry Group shares jumped over 20% following a revised possible takeover offer from Frasers Group Plc. Entain tumbled 8% following a report that the Labour government is considering an up to £3 billion tax hit on the gambling sector in this month's Budget.
