Aziz Shamuratov /iStock Editorial via Getty Images Investment Thesis NEOS Nasdaq-100 High Income ETF ( QQQI ) and JPMorgan Nasdaq Equity Premium Income ETF ( JEPQ ) are two hybrid funds designed to generate double-digit dividend yields whilst maintaining exposure to the growth of stocks included in the Nasdaq-100 Index ( NDX ). In view of the specific nature of the funds’ strategies, a pressing issue is the existence of a "growth ceiling," as a result of which actual returns lag behind the index during periods of active market growth. But 2026 has been marked by a period of heightened market volatility, leading to a decline in the sector’s value and showing signs of a fairly deep technical correction (NDX has fallen by as much as 13.1% since the high of the year). In the context of such market conditions, such funds as QQQI and JEPQ demonstrate more favorable results, mitigating the decline compared to the benchmark—Invesco QQQ Trust, Series 1 ETF ( QQQ ). Even if external circumstances beyond our control and difficult to predict continue to put pressure on these U.S. sectors, a portfolio of QQQI and JEPQ will allow us to partially offset negative price action by continuing to generate double-digit dividend yields. As these funds maintain their exposure to the growth of stocks in these sectors, it allows us to lock in a significant portion of the profits that will emerge from a potential recovery of the Nasdaq-100. In this way, a bet on QQQI and JE...
