Jacek Politowski/iStock Editorial via Getty Images Textron Aviation on Thursday announced plans to present a range of business and general aviation aircraft at AERO Friedrichshafen later this month, including the event debut of two Citation jets. The Cessna Citation Longitude and Cessna Citation Ascend are scheduled to appear at the April 22–25 show in Friedrichshafen, Germany. The Ascend’s appearance will mark its first showing at a European industry event. Cessna Citation Ascend (Textron Aviation) The company, a subsidiary of Textron Inc. ( TXT ), is expected to display the aircraft alongside models from its Cessna, Beechcraft and Pipistrel brands. The exhibition will take place at AERO Friedrichshafen, one of the region’s larger gatherings for general aviation manufacturers and operators. In addition to the two Citation jets, Textron Aviation said it intends to bring several other aircraft to its static display, including the Cessna Citation M2 Gen2, Beechcraft King Air 260, Cessna Grand Caravan EX and Cessna Turbo Stationair HD, along with the Pipistrel Virus SW. Additional aircraft, including the Cessna Turbo Skylane, Cessna Skyhawk, Pipistrel Velis Electro and Pipistrel Explorer, are expected to be featured at the company’s indoor exhibit space. The company said it maintains a sizable installed base in Europe, including hundreds of business jets and turboprop aircraft operating across the region. It also operates multiple service centers and parts distribution capabilities in Europe to support aircraft operators, alongside mobile service teams and around-the-clock maintenance assistance. Company representatives from parts, service and propeller divisions are expected to attend the event and meet with customers and industry participants during the show.
