Kenneth Cheung Elon Musk's X has abruptly moved the “X Pro” feature to its $40 per month Premium+ tier, stoking widespread frustration for users across the social media platform. Formerly known as “TweetDeck,” the feature is widely used by media outlets to monitor breaking news stories across all sectors globally, among other things. The feature was previously available under the Premium plan, which costs only $8 a month. When users asked Musk's AI chatbot Grok about its disappearance on Thursday, it told them, "The Creator Hub table hasn't refreshed yet, causing the mix-up. Upgrade via settings or contact Premium support for details." The unexpected feature change comes as the company continues to explore more options for monetization to increase income for the platform, which continues to struggle for revenue and user engagement growth even after Musk's arrival. VisualCommunications/iStock via Getty Images Vail Resorts ( MTN ) has seen its share price punished by a lofty valuation along with the 2025-2026 ski season coming in as one of the worst in a decade+. Despite that, the company's intelligent moves for 2026-2027, along with an owned portfolio of top-tier ski assets, position Vail Resorts well to maintain its almost 7% dividend and strong shareholder returns. Vail Resorts Vail Resorts operates one of the most impressive portfolios in the ski industry, with 42 resorts and >2 million pass holders. Vail Resorts Investor Presentation This massive integrated portfolio enables strong synergies as the company continues to work to build an integrated and profitable experience. At the same time, these assets are irreplaceable, with no major ski resorts built in decades. That means as demand grows, it'll be driven to Vail's existing resorts, improving margins in a high fixed-cost business. Vail Resorts Investor Presentation Vail has continued to improve experiences despite the impact of the Park City Mountain labor union strike, one of the company's largest resorts, followed by a poor winter. This was a hurdle, but one that's past the company, and the net concessions from the union fight are not prohibitively expensive. Vail Resorts Investor Presentation Vail has built the Epic Pass model with 2+ million Epic Pass holders driving 74% of visits and 64% of revenue in advance. That enables the company to handle season-to-season volatility better, with the $1 billion in Epic Pass revenue. That's incredibly key to an industry that has high fixed costs, and it's key to Vail's future success. Vail Resorts Financial Results Financially, the company's performance is seen below. Despite a 28% decline in snowfall and a 10% decline in visits, adjusted EBITDA stayed flat. Vail Resorts Investor Presentation Similarly, the 2025-2026 season snowfall is incredibly weak, but we expect the company to be able to handle this. The company's resort re...

Spencer Platt Volkswagen's ( VLKAF ) software partnership with Rivian Automotive ( RIVN ) has passed a key milestone. The German auto giant said winter testing of the first vehicles using the joint software was completed successfully, which brings Rivian ( RIVN ) closer to the next funding tranche tied to the deal. The development is important for Volkswagen ( VLKAF ) because the partnership is one of CEO Oliver Blume’s central efforts to strengthen the company's software capabilities and close the gap with Tesla ( TSLA ) and BYD Companies ( BYDDF ), while Rivian ( RIVN ) will be closer to receiving its next tranche of funding following the software success. Volkswagen ( VLKAF ) turned to Rivian ( RIVN ) in 2024 because the electric vehicle upstart had developed a more advanced software architecture and zonal electrical design, which VW wanted to adapt across its brands. The joint venture aims to develop a software platform to be utilized with the core Volkswagen brand as well as the U.S. pickup truck business Scout and Audi subsidiary. Shares of Rivian ( RIVN ) are down more than 20% on a year-to-date basis but still trade well above their 52-week low. Short interest on RIVN stands at 11.5% of the total float. Primo Brands , owner of viral bottled-water brand Saratoga Springs, is likely to gain more ground as it continues to ramp up its retail push, according to Jefferies. The investment firm upgraded the stock to buy from hold. It also raised its price target to $25 from $24, suggesting roughly 40% upside. "Primo Brands offers a rare combination of value, growth, and visibility," analyst Kaumil Gajrawala said Friday in a note to clients. "Having entered '26 on a firmer footing, the story is shifting from stabilization to optimization, bringing the retail opportunity to the fore." Last month, Primo issued forward adjusted EBTDA guidance in the range of $1.485 billion to $1.515 billion for fiscal year 2026. That figure seems "not just achievable but conservative" as "many growth levers are at play," Gajrawala wrote. In early 2025, Primo promoted Saratoga Springs through partnerships with influencers across social media platforms. The marketing effort was a huge success, with one TikToker's elaborate morning routine featuring Saratoga's iconic blue bottle going viral. Primo has also leaned into high-profile marketing opportunities at the Golden Globes, where Saratoga Springs appeared on the red carpet. And another one of its portfolio brands, Mountain Valley, will be visible at the Academy of Country Music Awards this spring, Primo executives said last month on a call with investors on the firm's fourth-quarter results. However, "Primo has yet to scratch the surface on [revenue growth management]," Jefferies wrote. "When executed well, a meaningful growth and margin lever can be unlocked," Gajrawala added. "Levers include pricing closer to consumption, better feature & display execution, pack architecture, and greater exposure to cold. Premium capacity adds incremental growth." He expects Primo's retail sales to grow roughly 2.5% in the coming years, with the company's top line set to accelerate through 2026. "At 10x 2028 earnings, shares do not reflect the earnings power,"...
