Veronique D Moderna ( MRNA ) Tuesday said that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration will not initiate a review of the biologics license application for its investigational influenza vaccine, mRNA-1010, and has issued a refusal-to-file letter, sending shares lower in extended trading. Moderna, down nearly 9% after hours, had exercised a priority review voucher to facilitate a timely review of the application. The agency told Moderna ( MRNA ) that its application didn’t contain an “adequate and well-controlled” trial because the control arm didn’t reflect the “best-available standard of care in the United States at the time of the study,” according to a letter dated February 3 that Moderna posted online. The letter did not identify any specific safety or efficacy concerns regarding mRNA-1010 , the company said. Moderna said that the refusal was inconsistent with previous written communications from the agency and that it had requested a meeting with FDA officials to understand how to proceed. It's considered legacy because it is largely a mature cash-flow story that is exposed to declining models as consumers continue to cut the proverbial cords and sign up for bigger streaming entities such as Netflix ( NFLX ) and D+ ( DIS ). Therefore, Comcast decided to take this collection of cable channels and release it to the public marketplace (along with debt at around $3 billion). In this very brief article, I explain why the stock is essentially a hold in this moment. Waiting For The Next Set Of Numbers To begin with, and to the point, let me state the obvious: we don't have a lot of data on the company yet in terms of fresh earnings reports. Right off the bat, though, we know two things: the overall model has to change for Versant because of cord-cutting, and data reported by the company at its investor site for its investor day presentation on December 4, 2025, doesn't necessarily show robust growth. Free cash flow, for instance, is estimated to decline 15% to just under $1.4 billion for 2025E versus 2024. Revenue for the same period may decline 6% to $6.6 billion from $7 billion. Adjusted EBITDA margin is expected to decline a point (33% versus 34%), and the actual metric itself will go from $2.4 billion to $2.1 billion, a 10% drop. In addition, revenue for various streams (slide 152) indicates that sales linked to advertising will drop 13% in 2025E, decline 6% for linear top-line, pull back 7% for content licensing/miscellaneous, and increase 6% for platforms, with the latter being business-to-con...

(NASDAQ:TSLA) will reportedly charge $300,000 for the Semi Long-Range trim level ahead of 2026 deliveries. $260,000 For Standard Trim, $300,000 For The Long Range Semi The automaker will retail the Standard trim with 325 miles of range for $260,000 in addition to the $300,000 price tag for the Long-Range trim, Electrek reported on Tuesday. Citing California Air Resources Board (CARB) data, the report suggested that the average price of a Zero-emission truck hovered around the $435,000 mark, which means that Tesla's Semi, with its reported $290,000 price before destination fees and taxes, would undercut rivals by over $145,000, the report said. Tesla Reveals Semi Trims The news comes as Tesla revealed two trim levels for the Semi Truck, with both able to recover 60% of the driving range from a 30-minute charge, according to the automaker. What's more, Tesla CEO Elon Musk confirmed that the Semi would be entering high-volume production sometime this year.
