Quantum Blockchain Technologies PLC (AIM:QBT, FRA:BYA1) CEO Francesco Gardin talked with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about latest developments across the company’s US patent application process, AI software implementation, and ongoing hardware deployment. Gardin provided an update on the ASIC Ultraboost patent application in the United States, explaining that the company is actively engaging with examiners to move the process forward. He noted that QBT is working closely with its patent attorney to secure progress, with a call scheduled to accelerate feedback. Gardin said the company believes strongly in the innovation behind the technology, stating: “We definitely think that this is an invention which is innovative and we will work very hard to get it to be granted.” He added that a potential compromise could involve narrowing the scope of claims to reach approval. On the operational side, Gardin discussed the AI software Oracle implementation underway at the company’s Milan-based lab. He highlighted that the ASIC manufacturer has provided extensive technical support, enabling smoother integration. The Mining Development Kit (MDK) has now been shipped to Oregon for testing, with delivery to Milan expected shortly after Easter. This step is seen as key to advancing system validation and deployment. Additionally, Gardin addressed preparations for the upcoming bondholders meeting, outlining ongoing efforts to reduce bond exposure through conversion and continued negotiations. Iran's disruption of traffic through the critical Strait of Hormuz has changed the game for investors. No one knows what will happen next. Perhaps a peaceful resolution to the military conflict with Iran will be reached. Maybe the crisis will be prolonged or even worsen, driving oil and gas prices significantly higher. Whatever happens, here are three energy stocks that are surging right now and worth buying for it's too late. Image source: Getty Images. Continue reading

Adeia Inc. ( ADEA ) has done the opposite. The stock has increased by ~40% in the last three months, while the Nasdaq has declined by 10%. Isn't this worth paying attention to? This kind of outperformance does not happen without a good reason. In this case, the company has been signing multi-year IP licensing deals with some of the largest technology companies in the world. In March 2026 , Adeia signed a multi-year IP license agreement with Advanced Micro Devices ( AMD ). This followed the January 2026 multi-year agreement with Microsoft ( MSFT ) and the December 2025 long-term Media IP License deal with The Walt Disney Company ( DIS ). Each of these deals has two important characteristics that investors should consider. First, all three are multi-year agreements. The exact duration is not disclosed, but in my understanding, multi-year typically means anywhere between three and ten years. In a nutshell, these deals will generate predictable recurring revenue for several years. Second, all three are with Tier-1 technology companies. That validates the quality and relevance of Adeia's patent portfolio in both the media and semiconductor industries. Adeia is not a typical technology stock that makes products or sells software subscriptions. The company licenses its patent portfolio to companies operating in media technology, semiconductor design, and consumer electronics. The company was formed in October 2022 following the separation of Xperi Inc. ( XPER ). This deal covers IP for media streaming and content delivery technology. With Microsoft, the company signed a multi-year IP license agreement co...

Pullbacks and stock market corrections are the price of admission to Wall Street's long-term wealth creation machine. As of the closing bell on March 27, the ageless Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJINDICES: ^DJI) and technology-driven Nasdaq Composite (NASDAQINDEX: ^IXIC) were officially in correction territory , with respective declines of 10.01% and 12.56% from their all-time highs. The benchmark S&P 500 (SNPINDEX: ^GSPC) is also within striking distance of entering correction territory (down 8.74%). Image source: Getty Images. Continue reading
