Kenneth Cheung/iStock Unreleased via Getty Images Investment Thesis I find Adobe ( ADBE ) shares attractive from both fundamental and quantitative sides of analysis. It's therefore surprising to find ADBE among the underperformers. I'm starting coverage with a "S trong Buy" rating due to its strong financial position and excellent financial performance, as well as the growth prospects of the business, whose products are industry benchmarks. A significant undervaluation, according to my method, is an additional bonus. Thesis Explanation As always, my opinion is based on an actual analysis of the company's financial statements over the past several months. I use an 8-factor model that allows me to place any business on a 100% scale for evaluation. 100% is an outstanding business from all angles: solid performance, a stable balance sheet, and strong growth. Adobe managed to score 93%. In my articles, I examined about 30 companies, and Adobe stormed to second place in the virtual rankings, surpassing Arista Networks ( ANET ) and Coca-Cola ( KO ) (90 out of 100 for both), but behind Copart ( CPRT ) (100 out of 100). Author`s calculations Author`s view From a quantitative analysis perspective, Adobe has no weaknesses. Its efficient business model with a subscription system, cloud services, and low operating costs ensures a high profitability level. The net profit margin level is 30%. The accrued income is fully supported by actual operating cash flow . Despite the company's software operations and close ties to AI development, it primarily leverages the benefits of neural networks through partnerships and avoids the CapEx issues common in the IT industry as of today. As a result, the company's net debt is virtually zero, and debt servicing consumes no more than 3% of operating profit (although net interest expenses are also zero). Finally, the growth metrics that dominate my final quant ranking are also in good shape. I use U.S. GAAP EPS, and the three-year CAGR is 18.3%,...

teamtime/iStock Editorial via Getty Images Introduction The last time I covered Grab Holdings Limited ( GRAB ), I highlighted the company’s strong fundamentals, robust growth, and dominant position in the SEA region, with the potential for them to advance on their inflection point and continue delivering stronger profit and cash flow while still growing their revenue at double-digit rates. With a solid report released recently, their inflection point accelerating, a big step into the North American market through a recent acquisition, as well as strong 2028 guidance - all while the valuation is getting more and more attractive - I believe Grab is worth upgrading to a Strong Buy. Internal Developments Grab Holdings IR Grab’s Q4 report continued to show strong growth, with their revenue increasing 19% YoY, while the Adjusted EBITDA grew by 54% YoY and the Adjusted FCF grew by ~10.15% throughout the quarter, while the FY25 report was even stronger, with the Adjusted FCF growing by ~79% YoY as the company’s turnaround into positive cash flow generation advances alongside the growth in revenue. Grab Holdings IR As for the outlook, Grab sees 20% to 22% growth in revenue and 40% to 44% growth in their Adjusted EBITDA, while their 2028 targets remain very solid, expecting a 20% CAGR from 2025 to 2028, as well as an Adj. EBITDA of $1.5 billion with an 80% Adj. FCF conversion rate, for an Adj. FCF of roughly $1.2 billion is expected in 2028 based on this. When asked about the relatively uncommon 3-year guidance and its predictability, the company’s CFO said the following during their Q4 Earnings Call : (...) it's all organic growth. That's what we've given out here today. If you look at the strategy, actually hasn't changed in terms of how we're going to continue that momentum. Just to earlier point of the previous question, we're continuing that momentum in the revenue side of the business. And we feel that the timing is right. The last time that we provided a 3-year guidanc...

Earnings Call Insights: American Well Corporation (AMWL) Q4 2025 Management View Ido Schoenberg, Chairman & CEO, described 2025 as a “pivotal year” marked by a major transformation and a sharpened focus on offering what he called “the best tech platform in the market.” He stated, “We divested non-core activities. The sale of APC is one example. We restructured our company and dramatically reduced our cost base. We realigned our road map and go-to-market investments.” Schoenberg emphasized that 2026 begins with “clear visibility towards the goal of cash flow breakeven from operations in Q4.” Schoenberg highlighted the company’s strategic shift, saying, “Our 2026 top line is smaller, but now it's primarily high-quality, high upside, sticky revenue. This gives us clear visibility to reach our cash flow breakeven goal in Q4 of this year.” He noted that Amwell is now “building deeper, long-term relationships with the payers, government and health systems.” Mark Hirschhorn, Executive VP, COO & CFO, reported, “Total revenue for the year was $249.3 million. Importantly, subscription revenue continued to become a larger and more durable component of our business, representing 53% of total revenue, up from 45% in 2024.” Hirschhorn also emphasized cost control and profitability progress: “We reduced both net loss and adjusted EBITDA losses by approximately $100 million each, driven by disciplined cost actions and a more focused operating model.” Outlook Hirschhorn provided guidance for 2026: “For the full year 2026, we expect revenue in the range of $195 million to $205 million. We expect AMG visits between 1.32 million and 1.37 million visits. Earnings Call Insights: Mercer International (MERC) Q4 2025 Management View CEO Juan Bueno stated that operating results "continue to be undermined by significant market headwinds" and noted the recognition of noncash asset impairments, including a major write-down at the Peace River mill. He emphasized that underlying operational performance improved quarter-over-quarter, with cost reductions and efficiency improvements contributing to a $54 million increase in liquidity. Bueno highlighted the "One Goal One Hundred" program, which delivered about $30 million in cost savings for 2025, and reaffirmed the target of $100 million in improvements by the end of 2026. Bueno reported progress on the carbon capture demonstration unit at the Peace River mill with Svante Technologies: "the pilot plant is operating and the results so far are very encouraging, both in terms of the efficiency as well as purity of the CO2 being captured." Bueno described a "healthy order book" for the mass timber business, with the order backlog at $163 million compared to $80 million at the end of Q3, and projected 2026 mass timber revenue of about $120 million. CFO Richard Short stated, "our operating EBITDA for the fourth quarter was negative $20 million, up $8 million when compared to the third quarter's results." He reported a $216 million noncash impairment charge, primarily linked to Peace River, and a $12 million impairment in the solid wood segment. Short also noted, "in the fourth quarter, our aggregate liquidity improved by over $54 million to $430 million, comprised of about $187 million of cash and $243 million of undrawn revolvers." Outlook Management expects "modest NBSK and NBHK price improvements in Q1 in both Europe and China, while North America is expected to be stable." Bueno projected 2026 mass timber revenue "to be about $120 million," with expectations that "revenues to be more than double what we had in 2025 or above $120 million." Planned capital expenditures for 2026 are...

Earnings Call Insights: Atomera Incorporated (ATOM) Q4 2025 Management View Scott Bibaud, President and CEO, highlighted substantial advancements in customer progress within targeted segments, citing "very strong technical advantages, commencing new customer engagements in nontraditional areas and made our first foray into the world of government-funded collaborative developments, all positioning us strongly for commercial execution in 2026." Bibaud detailed recent technical breakthroughs on Gate-All-Around transistor technology, stating the company obtained "very exciting silicon results in both targeted areas, which we believe provides the definitive proof to drive adoption of MST at all 4 of the world's Gate-All-Around customers in the future." The CEO indicated that Atomera's MST technology now demonstrates superior diffusion blocking for advanced transistor nodes, with expectations to "implement this technology with leading industry players over the next few quarters." In DRAM, Atomera is working on "2 major solution offerings that we're working hard to validate since their market potential is very high," emphasizing that these are wafer-based solutions with easier adoption paths. Updates on RF-SOI and Power market progress were provided, with Bibaud noting new opportunities: "Through our own internal analysis and modeling, we have uncovered an opportunity for MST entrench FETs, which are an important component in optimizing energy efficiency in AI data centers." Bibaud discussed the company’s initial commercial customer for GaN on silicon, highlighting that the customer has begun wafer runs and that outside development funding has been secured for further projects. Summing up 2025, Bibaud stated, "We kicked off a record number of wafer runs without leading customers, initiated several new projects and solidified the business talent on our team, which should lead to further contract announcements over the course of this year."
