Most income investors are accustomed to receiving quarterly dividend distributions, but there are more than 80 stocks that cut shareholders a check every month. Most of them are real estate investment trusts (REITs) or business development companies (BDCs), which are investment vehicles that get tax breaks in exchange for paying out at least 90% of their taxable income to investors through dividends. So, while many do offer quarterly distributions, some REITs and BDCs do so every month. Here are three in particular that have been the most consistent in increasing their dividends. Continue reading

Rawpixel/iStock via Getty Images Investment Thesis Since my last article about AppLovin’s Corp. ( APP ), its stock is down by about 31%, as I anticipated a stronger price correction. The important question now is, after this price correction, is APP’s risk-reward profile attractive, or do investors need to be prepared for a falling knife? No one could be sure, given that investors and analysts base their views on APP’s growth story - in combination with exceptional financial and profit results—and not on implemented growth catalysts. I will try to cover another perspective of the company’s growth trajectory. Specifically, I am trying to assess how AI, and the boost it will give to the gaming industry, could affect APP’s growth prospects and, overall, its performance. Strong Financials APP shows impressive financials, with YoY revenue growth of 66% in Q4’25, reaching $1.7B, driven by technological advancements in its core mobile gaming business, seasonal momentum, and expansion in e-commerce ads. In parallel, adj. EBITDA of $1.4B reflected 82% YoY growth, resulting in an EBITDA margin of 84% in Q4’25. Net income from operations (NIO) reached $1.1B in the same quarter, along with a 66% NIO margin , compared to 60% in Q4’24 and 59% in Q3’25. Even more promising is that APP achieved this revenue growth while continuing to reduce its marketing and R&D expenses, which decreased by 21% and 28.7%, respectively, reflecting that its performance relies on its advanced solutions and not on marketing actions, as well as the company investing a disciplined amount in R&D to support its AI solutions. Q4’25 Investors Presentation Regarding its liquidity and leverage position, APP illustrates healthy results. APP’s $3.5B debt is almost entirely long-term, while its FCF for Q4’25 is $1.3B and the FCF margin is 79%, supporting the company’s cash‑generation power to meet its obligations In macro perspective, APP reported annual YoY revenue growth of 70% with an NIO margin of 63% and an ...

3 Detained, 1 Rumored Suicide As SWAT Team Swarms Home Near Guthrie's House In a dramatic Friday night development in a case that's garnered enormous public interest, three people were detained as a SWAT team executed search warrants connected to the abduction of the mother of NBC "Today" co-host Savannah Guthrie -- and a neighbor claims another person shot himself in the head. Action unfolded at two locations -- both of them only about two miles from Nancy Guthrie's Tucson residence. As this is written, police have yet to reveal details. A Pima County sheriff's deputy mans a roadblock near a home that was the focus of a search warrant (Perry Vandell / The Republic ) The neighbor's unconfirmed claim of a suicide was first reported by News4 Tucson . Two men and one of their mothers were detained. So far, it's unclear if any of those three are considered suspects. A police source cautioned Fox News that "technically everyone is detained" when a search warrant is executed , and said Friday's action was prompted by a tip to police. A spokeswoman for the Pima County Sheriff's department confirmed the operation was related to Guthrie's Feb. 1 abduction. Before SWAT went into action, Fox News observed a single-engine, Pima County Sheriff's surveillance plan circling the area. Police vehicles were used to block nearby intersections near a targeted house in a neighborhood that azcentral describes as "very similar" to Guthrie's. "Because this is a joint investigation, at the request of the FBI — no additional information is currently available," Pima County Sheriff's Department said on X. Reporters observed a long procession of police and civilian vehicles proceeding toward the house, including a forensics vehicle . The search warrant was executed at a home about two miles from that of Nancy Guthrie (via New York Times ) While two locations were searched, details are still fuzzy. Azcentral reported that, near midnight, a second house just a half-mile away was raided. However,...

Yuji Kotani/DigitalVision via Getty Images Back in March 2025, I wrote a bullish article on Xylem Inc. ( XYL ) due to its strong revenue growth and exposure to long-term water infrastructure tailwinds. Much of this thesis still holds true. Xylem reported better-than-expected EPS and revenue in its latest Q4 2025 results, with strong results across most of its business segments. It has increased its top line for five consecutive years and its bottom line for three consecutive years. The company also raised its dividend again , and although there is caution to its guidance for FY 2026 , growth still appears attractive over the longer term. Historic stock trend (Seeking Alpha) The company, in particular, has benefited from utilities and large industrial companies that continue to spend on upgrades. Going into 2026, management is focusing on an 80/20 strategy , purposefully sacrificing some sales to focus on profitability. This strategy has led to lower-than-expected guidance for FY2026, which the market reacted negatively towards. For long-term investors, I still maintain a bullish stance, and it is furthermore an opportunity to take advantage of a dip driven by expectations resetting rather than deteriorating fundamentals. Company updates and outlook Q4 2025 was a solid quarter for Xylem overall. In the chart below, its strongest segment, Measurement and Control Solutions, increased in revenue by 10% year over year (YoY), whereas the weakest segment showed flat growth. However, all segments improved their EBITDA margins, which indicates to me that the management's focus on profitability is starting to pay off. Q4 2025 Segment highlights (Investor presentation) I'll admit, the guidance the company gave was a bit of a letdown. Analyst consensus estimates indicated an annual revenue guidance of $9.33 billion for FY2026. However, Xylem guided only between $9.1 and $9.2 billion, as shown in the table below. Management has indicated a number of reasons for this forecast, fi...

Cheating allegations and curse words fly in match World Curling says officials will watch for rule violations Canada’s men’s curling team have escaped punishment in the Winter Olympics despite appearing to have broken the rules in a bad-tempered victory over Sweden. However, World Curling has warned the Canadians about their abusive language during their 8-6 win on Friday, and introduced emergency spot checks. The game was halted after Sweden claimed their rivals were touching the stone following release – which is not allowed under the rules – and asked officials to keep an eye out for further incidents. With Canada 7-6 ahead after the penultimate end, Sweden’s Oskar Eriksson then told Marc Kennedy he was double-touching the stone, which led to the Canadian responding with an expletive.
