Key Points Rocket Lab's revenue has surged, with its Space Systems segment generating nearly $200 million last year. At 65 times sales, the stock is priced for near-perfect execution, leaving little room for execution lapses. The company remains unprofitable, and its future hinges on successfully launching Neutron this year. 10 stocks we like better than Rocket Lab › Rocket Lab (NASDAQ: RKLB) was one of the most electrifying stocks last year, surging more than 140% as the company races to catch up with Elon Musk's SpaceX, the dominant player in space launch. But with a stock that's moved this far this fast, you need to understand both the opportunity and the risk. Here are two things that should be top of mind. Rocket Lab's growth has been genuinely impressive Rocket Lab has been rapidly expanding its top line as it inks critical deals in the public and private sectors. In 2025, the company brought in $601.8 million, up 38% year over year. While the company is known for its namesake rockets, its space systems segment -- things like spacecraft manufacturing and satellite components -- generates most of the revenue: more than $402.7 million of last year's total. Will AI create the world's first trillionaire? Our team just released a report on the one little-known company, called an "Indispensable Monopoly" providing the critical technology Nvidia and Intel both need. Continue » But its launch services segment -- the rockets -- is growing rapidly: $125.3 million in 2024 to $199 million in 2025. And this could change dramatically if Rocket Lab can successfully get its Neutron rocket program off the ground. The medium-lift Neutron, which will be capable of lifting payloads significantly larger than its current small-lift Electron rockets, will enable it to compete more directly for the massive contracts that have driven SpaceX's incredible success. Targeting a debut launch later this year, the company's future is heavily tied to the success of Neutron. The valuation leav...

Harry Styles has reflected on the death of his One Direction bandmate Liam Payne in a new interview with Zane Lowe. “It’s so difficult to lose a friend,” Styles said. “It’s difficult to lose any friend, but it’s so difficult to lose a friend who is so like you in so many ways.” Styles was talking with Lowe as part of an Apple Music interview to promote his new album Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally, which is released this week. Payne died in October 2024 after falling from a third-floor balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina. “I think there was a period when he passed away where I really struggled with acknowledging how strange it is to have people own part of your grief in a way,” said Styles. “I have such strong feelings around my friend passing away. And then suddenly being aware of a desire from other people of you to convey that in some way, or it means you’re not feeling what you’re feeling, you know?” As a member of the chart-dominating boyband One Direction, Payne was part of a five-piece that sold 70m records and sold out stadiums worldwide. After the group disbanded, his solo music leaned towards R&B and he notched a Top 10 hit in the UK and US with the single Strip That Down. “I saw someone with the kindest heart who just wanted to be great,” Styles said of Payne. Styles continued that his former bandmate’s death was “a really important moment for me in terms of taking a look at my life and being able to say to myself, ‘OK, what do I want to do with my life? How do I want to live my life?’ And I think the greatest way you can honor your friends who pass away is by living your life to the fullest. Like, super special person and really sad.” After Payne’s death, One Direction band members remembered him as a positive presence with a cheeky sense of humour. “Liam had an energy for life and a passion for work that was infectious,” said Niall Horan. “He was the brightest in every room and always made everyone feel happy and secure.” “It was really, really, i...

As these teams emerged for kick-off, the Holte End displayed a tifo proudly flaunting Aston Villa’s hand, chiefly an ace of clubs. By the end, however, they rued a damaging defeat after Chelsea roused from being behind to dismantle Unai Emery’s side and canter to victory, João Pedro scoring a hat-trick to make it 17 goals for the season in all competitions. The Brazilian, a £55m buy from Brighton last summer, was in the mood for a fourth and tried his luck with an overhead-kick, while the Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez prevented Alejandro Garnacho from adding a fifth late on. For Villa and their grand aspirations, it was a sobering evening. It was Liam Rosenior who shuffled his pack a little, dropping Robert Sánchez with the goalkeeper culpable for both goals in defeat at Arsenal last Sunday, but while Chelsea made a poor start, trailing inside two minutes, Filip Jörgensen was rarely troubled on just his third league appearance of the season. When João Pedro exhibited his anime face-mask goal celebration for the final time, every outfield Chelsea player joined the party in front of the away fans, while many in the home end headed for the exits. It was fitting that Enzo Fernández pretended to polish the forward’s boot after his second. Emery dismissed the notion of pressure eating at his players after defeat at Wolves last Friday and despite seizing an early lead here through Douglas Luiz, at times they appeared overawed by the occasion. Emery has been at pains to project positivity but perhaps it was a tactic given there was no way of dressing up this as an occasion. The prize on offer – the chance to move nine points clear of a direct rival – meant it was hard not to consider this Villa’s biggest match of the season. Villa have now won only one of their past five home league matches, having won the previous eight. Things started so well for Villa. Douglas Luiz flicked Leon Bailey’s cross, cleverly dummied by Ollie Watkins, beyond Jörgensen to open the scoring ...

With a vote on war powers, a split Senate will weigh Trump's authorities in Iran toggle caption Kevin Dietsch/Getty Images A resolution to require President Trump to seek congressional approval for any further action in Iran failed to advance in the Senate, five days after the U.S. and Israel launched a military campaign against the Iranian regime. The vote was 47-53, largely along party lines. If passed, the resolution would have blocked further U.S. military action in Iran without congressional approval under the 1973 War Powers Act. That legislation passed during the Vietnam War to give Congress a legal check on executive war authority. The 1973 act also requires the president to notify Congress within 48 hours of deploying U.S. forces into hostilities and to end the deployment within 60 days unless Congress authorizes or extends it. Sponsor Message The House is expected to vote on a similar measure on Thursday. Democrats argue that Congress needs to reassert its authority to declare war and rein in President Trump's ability to act unilaterally, with some senators calling the strikes illegal. Maryland Sen. Chris Van Hollen, who serves on the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, is among the Democrats pushing for Congress to restrain Trump from further action. "Trump is lying to the American people as he launches an illegal, regime-change war against Iran," Van Hollen said in a statement released ahead of the vote. "This is endangering American lives and has already resulted in mass civilian casualties. This is not making us safer and only damages the U.S. and our interests." Republicans have overwhelmingly voiced support for the joint strikes that killed Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and targeted the country's navy and ballistic missile capabilities. But questions remained about the scope and timeline of the operation after classified briefings with military and State Department leaders this week. The vote came hours after Defense Sec. Pete Hegs...

BlackJack3D IREN Limited ( IREN ) entered into purchase agreements for more than 50,000 Nvidia ( NVDA ) B300 GPUs to expand its total fleet to 150,000 GPUs, the company said Wednesday. The company expects to deploy the additional GPUs in phases through the second half of 2026 across its existing air-cooled data centers in Mackenzie, British Columbia, and Childress, Texas. The 150,000 GPU fleet is expected to support AI cloud annualized run-rate revenue of more than $3.7B by the end of the year. Its existing data centers at Canal Flats and Childress provide capacity to support additional GPUs over time, the company noted. The company has secured $9.3B of funding in the past eight months across customer prepayments, convertible notes, GPU leasing, and GPU financing. It expects to use those and other capital sources to finance ~$3.5B of additional capital spending for the orders expected in H2 2026. Separately, IREN ( IREN ) also established an at-the-market equity program as part of its broader capital management framework. " Scaling to 150,000 GPUs positions IREN among the largest AI cloud infrastructure providers globally and underscores the strength of our vertically integrated platform," said Co-Founder and Co-CEO Daniel Roberts. "In a supply-constrained environment, early hardware procurement reduces time-to-compute and increases execution certainty as we scale." IREN ( IREN ) stock dropped 1.8% in after-hours trading. Visualizing Iran's Vast Size & Why Any Ground Invasion Means Years-Long Quagmire Most Americans have little understanding or concept of Iran's size in terms of geography or population. The ethno-religious make-up of the sprawling Mideast/West Asian nation is also deeply important, given the US is already talking about arming and supporting some kind of Kurdish-led anti-Tehran ground operation. Suffice it to say, Iran's population is more than double (over 90 million people) that of neighboring Iraq's . Iran is also the size of almost half the European continent. All of this is crucial for attempting to visualize what American military escalation there might mean, given the Trump White House has not ruled out American boots on the ground amid the unfolding 'Operation Epic Fury'. Consider: the US spent two blood-soaked decades occupying Iraq (again, significantly smaller than the Islamic Republic). Russia has spent over four years on its military operation in Ukraine , and Iran dwarfs Ukraine in size . And here's Iran's size overlaying the European continent. Next: Size of Iran vs. Alaska (with the continental USA for scale). Imagine a war that covered some nearly one-third of the continental United States , and also imagine an outside force trying to pacify a population of 90 million within that vast geography. Iran and Alaska are similar in massive land expanse: Alaska: 1.723 million km² ≈ 665,000 mi² (about 17.4% of USA) Iran: 1.648 million km² ≈ 636,300 mi² (about 16.7% of USA) USA: 9.867 million km² ≈ 3,810,000 mi² Another look: Iran is far bigger than Texas. It is also significantly bigger than Iraq. Importantly, the single deadliest Middle East war in the modern-ear was the Iran-Iraq war . From 1980 to1988 these enemies sharing a common border fought a ground and artillery war to stalemate. It was an utterly disastrous war of attrition, and at that time the United States actually covertly supported Iraq under Saddam Hussein in order to weaken Iran. But Iran per...

Companies hiring more experts in artificial intelligence are seeing their stocks and bonds outperform this year, according to Barclays Plc . The bank looked at how many job postings a firm has seeking AI experts, as opposed to AI generalists, versus the median for their sector. It then compared the level of AI expert hires to the firms’ equity and credit returns in 2026. The result: Companies with hiring ratios below the sector average tended to underperform — those notching at least a 0.1x differential realized a -19% equity return on average, and -0.79% excess returns in bonds. Companies least exposed to AI disruption, or those with a hiring ratio for AI experts that is well above the sector average, outperformed. Excess returns for credit more than 0.4x above the sector average were -0.11% this year, versus -0.4% and -0.3% for the high-grade and junk bond indexes respectively. “Expert skills are a better proxy for meaningful AI adoption,” Barclays strategists led by Dominique Toublan and Brad Elliott wrote in their Wednesday note. “Companies with below‑median expert AI hiring and low sales-per-employee ratios are identified as most vulnerable within their sectors.” Barclays acknowledged that “this is a fairly simplistic way to analyze a nuanced topic,” adding that some companies may use enterprise level solutions for AI rather than hiring experts. But it cited a series of companies that may be exposed to AI disruption based on their hiring patterns, including CrowdStrike Holdings Inc. , Workday Inc. and International Business Machines Corp. A spokesperson for CrowdStrike said, “This report is fundamentally flawed, relying on analysis the author describes as ‘simplistic,’ distorting CrowdStrike’s AI leadership with a superficial job-posting metric that ignores our incredible Q4 results driven by accelerating AI-tailwinds.” A Workday spokesperson pointed to the fact that the Barclays equity analyst covering the company, Raimo Lenschow , has an overweight rating on ...

“Vamos, vamos!” (“come on, let’s go!”) screamed Rodri in his native Spanish following a 62nd-minute header that seemed to grab a precious victory for Manchester City. But the title chasers’ 2-1 lead lasted only 14 minutes as Phil Foden allowed Elliot Anderson to run off him and the Nottingham Forest midfielder, from range, curled a sublime equaliser beyond Gianluigi Donnarumma. City’s faithful were silenced. Rodri’s first league goal in 22 months had come when he rose to head Rayan Aït-Nouri’s corner and arrived seven minutes after Morgan Gibbs-White had cancelled out Antoine Semenyo’s first-half opener. Yet while City closed the contest harrying Forest they failed to find a match-winner. By the close, Pep Guardiola’s men had failed to do what was required to keep the championship in their hands until its denouement in May: to win. Guardiola’s team now have nine games to play, Arsenal one less, and as Mikel Arteta’s men won at Brighton it is advantage Gunners, though more twists and turns may yet come. The contest pitted the 57 goals (the division’s second highest) of Guardiola’s challengers against the 26 (second lowest) of Vítor Pereira’s relegation battlers. For City, Erling Haaland was back from injury after a one-game absence, Foden recalled for a first league start after being benched for two games, and Nico O’Reilly missing after “feeling uncomfortable” in training, Guardiola said. Foden has struggled for form yet no confidence-deficit was present in a drag-back that claimed a free-kick. In a muted start Rayan Cherki’s corner from the left joined an early Semenyo effort as the closest to a breakthrough. Pereira hoped to arrest a run of three straight losses in all competitions with an XI without the dropped Callum Hudson-Odoi and Omari Hutchinson from the 2-1 loss at Brighton, Jair Cunha and Nicolás Domínguez their replacements. Posts from this author will be added to your daily email digest and your homepage feed. Epic Games and Google are burying the hatchet, but documents released today reveal that they aren’t only aligned on how Google is shaking things up for app stores. The two companies have also agreed to terms about a new class of apps that they’re calling “metaverse browsers,” according to a heavily redacted section of a revised binding term sheet. While the term “metaverse” has largely fallen out of favor — Mark Zuckerberg, for example, is now much more interested in AI — Epic CEO Tim Sweeney has been talking for years about the metaverse and how it might work in the future. (Depending on how you define the concept, Epic’s Fortnite is already arguably one of the biggest versions of a metaverse.) And this actually isn’t the first time there has been a connection with Epic and Google about the metaverse; in court in January, when discussing a secret $800 million Unreal Engine and services deal, Sweeney blurted out that the agreement related to the metaverse. Unfortunately, the redactions in the revised binding term sheet cover up a lot of the key details about what a metaverse browser actually is. But from what’s visible in the document, metaverse browsers will: “have the primary purpose of allowing the navigation and exploration of metaverse worlds;” “support virtual items and identity that are portable across different worlds in the metaverse browser; and” “must support modern security considerations including Sandbox capabilities, limitations on code execution, and secure connections.” In a blog post today about Google’s changes, Epic also vaguely noted that “Google will take steps to support the future open metaverse.” When reached for comment by The Verge, Epic spokesperson Natalie Munoz and Google spokesperson Dan Jackson both said they had nothing furth...

bgwalker/iStock Unreleased via Getty Images Target Corporation ( TGT ) released its Q4 results in the after-market hours, and my initial read was that the sales side of the ledger reflects much of the same as in past quarters. That is, for the 13 th straight quarter, the retailer reported flat or declining sales. I’ve provided continuing coverage on TGT in the past, and my sentiment has been primarily neutral due to a combination of the sales picture as well as the multitude of headwinds TGT has faced over the years. This includes its centerpiece in cultural political battles, its elevated exposure to shrink, and its unfavorable discretionary positioning in inflationary environments, which has created lopsided promotional drag relative to other off-price retailers. Today, I remain neutral because I believe the retailer is very much in a “prove it” mode, and I believe that new CEO Michael Fiddelke has his work cut out for him. Fiddelke does seem to have the right mindset, with stepped-up investments in the storefronts. These investments, however, could tap into TGT’s profitability, which has recently been on the mend. I would need to see tangible and positive results from these investments, and until that happens, I would be content remaining neutral on the stock and its prospects. TGT Stock Key Metrics My neutral sentiment on TGT is echoed across-the-board from the Seeking Alpha (“SA”) quants and the broader analyst communities alike. The quants do grade TGT positively on most metrics, including valuation, but TGT is currently sitting on a capital “F” on growth, and I believe this is warranted. Seeking Alpha - Ratings Summary Of TGT Stock Over the last three years, for example, TGT is sitting on a negative 1% CAGR for revenues. This compares to 5% for nearby peer Walmart ( WMT ). Seeking Alpha - Growth Metrics Of TGT Compared To Peers Sentiment among the analyst communities is along the same lines. In addition, from a price target perspective, analysts actually see ...

rparobe/E+ via Getty Images My investment in StoneCo ( STNE ) stock back in November 2021 has not gone that well. After 4+ years, I am sitting on a meager gain of ~4% on my initial investment while the S&P 500 has rallied almost 50% during this time. As much as I would have enjoyed a better performance, I understand that this is a part of being a long-term oriented, contrarian investor with a focus on small-caps. My last bullish piece on StoneCo was published in December 2025 when I thought its credit portfolio growth was fundamentally different from what we saw in 2021. On March 2, StoneCo reported Q4 2025 earnings . In reaction to the earnings print, STNE stock plunged yesterday, losing almost 20% of its value. I believe StoneCo's long-term shareholders are now used to this substantial volatility associated with earnings reports. However, a 20% drop in just one trading session requires scrutiny. Although I am comfortable with increased volatility, that doesn't mean I am okay with sideways trading that lasts several years, which has been the case with StoneCo over the past 4+ years. After diving deep into the Q4 earnings print, I have come across a few red flags that need to be monitored closely. That said, StoneCo is offering a buyback yield of at least 10.6% today, with the possibility of a yield as high as 26% if StoneCo fully utilizes its buyback potential this year. Given my belief that StoneCo has a long runway to grow, I have decided to add to my long position today to make the most of this very attractive buyback yield. Q4 Earnings Recap For the fourth quarter of 2025, StoneCo reported revenue of R$3.7 billion, up 13% YoY. The adjusted gross profit in Q4 was R$1.7 billion, up 9% YoY. For the full year, adjusted gross profit grew 13.5% YoY to R$6.32 billion, which was below man agement's guidance for R$6.375 billion. On the back of an adjusted EPS of R$2.87 in Q4 (up 27% YoY), full-year adjusted EPS came to R$9.71, ahead of the guidance. Exhibit 1: Profitabi...

Over the past 52 weeks, the stock has gained 24.76%, while it has been up 17.5% year-to-date (YTD). alfexe/iStock via Getty Images Overview The concept of 'house money' originates from gambling with winnings rather than one's original stake. You sit down at a roulette table with $100, and you win $100. You put the winnings of $100 back into your pocket and continue gambling with the house's money instead of yours. When it comes to the YieldMax ETFs, many of them offer massive yields that make it possible to reach a similar level of house money status. For instance, YieldMax Ultra Option Income Strategy ETF ( ULTY ) is a popular fund that offers a starting dividend yield of ~70% . The fund pays out on a weekly basis, so the listed yield may be different by the time you read this. With a dividend yield of 70%, this means that investors should be able to technically receive their initial capital back in a little over a year. $10,000 invested in ULTY translates to an estimated annual dividend income of $7,000, assuming that payouts don't shift too drastically over time. However, the reality for many of these funds is that there are certain tradeoffs that must be considered if you plan to hold until you reach house money status. I've held a dozen different YieldMax ETFs over the last two years, and I wanted to share my experience now that I've reached house money on quite a few of them. I will highlight two examples of the funds I have reached house money status with. Two examples of ETFs I have achieved house money status with are: YieldMax COIN Option Income Strategy ETF ( CONY ). YieldMax NVDA Option Income Strategy ETF ( NVDY ). Unfortunately, I've determined that reaching house money status isn't quite worth the payout and opportunity cost of allocating capital towards these ETFs. Additionally, the experiences of these two ETFs are vastly different now, despite reaching house money status on both. While there is certainly some money that can be made with these ETFs, investors need to understand that these are very high-risk funds. For instance, the higher the yiel...

Key Points The market has soured on this business because its growth has fallen off a cliff. The current price-to-sales ratio is below 1, so there is valuation upside should the fundamentals improve. A quick return to strong growth is probably the only factor that can drive investor returns. 10 stocks we like better than Sweetgreen › Sweetgreen (NYSE: SG) hasn't exactly panned out the way that investors had hoped. Shares in the health-forward fast-casual dining concept are currently about 89% below their price on the initial public offering (IPO) date in November 2021. In fact, they are essentially trading at their lowest level ever. The bulls are hungry for better days ahead. Is Sweetgreen stock going to $10? Will AI create the world's first trillionaire? Our team just released a report on the one little-known company, called an "Indispensable Monopoly" providing the critical technology Nvidia and Intel both need. Continue » Looking at the past Reaching a $10 price target would not be uncharted territory for Sweetgreen. This business started trading on the public market at $52 per share. And after extreme volatility that saw the stock tank, shares soared to $44 in late 2024. Since then, however, there has clearly been extreme pessimism. Shares traded at a price of $5.36 recently, which showcases severely depressed market sentiment. That view is justified. Sweetgreen registered year-over-year revenue growth of 0.4% in fiscal 2025 (ended Dec. 28, 2025), down from robust double-digit gains in the previous four fiscal years. Same-store sales slumped 7.9% last fiscal year as well, as foot traffic fell. With this type of disappointing financial performance, the share price increasing 87% from $5.36 to $10 seems like a very low-probability outcome. Revenue growth is the most critical factor Investors should know that Sweetgreen isn't yet profitable. In fiscal 2024 and fiscal 2025, it posted net losses of $90 million and $134 million, respectively. Wall Street analysts don...
