The research firm said the partnership news, which was reported by The Information on Thursday, is a vital long-term strategic move against AI search cannibalization. Wedbush believes the rumored partnership would provide TTD access to highly valuable intent data that the company could leverage across its customer base in connected TV and retail. However, the share price action overestimates near-term accretion while ignoring the inevitable DSP dilution and disintermediation risks inherent in partnering with a platform like OpenAI while introducing new execution risks and margin uncertainty. "While the gross advertising pool at OpenAI will undoubtedly scale, we expect TTD’s share of that spend to decline over time. As OpenAI matures, we anticipate it will inevitably build a proprietary, in-house DSP to capture ad spend currently ceded to third parties," the research firm said. "Furthermore, as OpenAI opens its inventory to a broader array of DSP partners to maximize yield, TTD’s win rates will face natural compression. Chet’s bloody caesar Serves 1 For the spicy mix (makes 10 servings) 60ml Worcestershire sauce 30ml Thai soy sauce (we use Golden Mountain), or dark soy sauce 30ml black-rice vinegar, or red-wine vinegar 7½ml Tabasco 7½ml sriracha 7½ml tamarind sauce 4½g smoked salt 3g celery salt For the drink 30ml chilli vodka - we use Doghouse’s Baller chilli bacon vodka, but you can easily make your own by infusing three chopped red chillies in a bottle of vodka for 24 hours at room temperature, then fine straining 15ml fino sherry 5ml mezcal 15ml Chet’s spicy mix (see above and method) 20ml lemon juice 75ml tomato juice To garnish 1 lemon wedge 1 stick celery 1 green olive Put all the spicy mix ingredients in a clean jar, stir to dissolve the salt, then seal. It will now keep indefinitely in the fridge. To build the drink, measure all the liquids into the large tin of a cocktail shaker. Half-fill the tin with ice, then strain into the small shaker tin. That was the day that Donald Trump declared Cuba an “unusual and extraordinary threat” to US national security, introduced a full-scale fuel blockade around the island, and turned off the lights for their home, schools and hospitals. For Cubans Americans like me, the consequences of Trump’s declaration are not abstract. They are immediate, and devastating. Our families are running out of food. Our friends are unable to access medicine. While Marco Rubio, the secretary of state, speaks in the name of our “freedom”, he actively starves our communities of their most basic needs. In our community, this kind of doublespeak is nothing new. For decades, the United States has enforced a brutal embargo against the island, forcing its exclusion from the international systems of trade, finance, and tourism under the banner of “democracy promotion”. Washington insists that its approach pressures the government. In reality, everyday people have always borne the weight. The logic of that collective punishment is written in black and white. In an infamous 1960 cable, the US secretary of state made the case for policy to “economic dissatisfaction and hardship” on the island. The plan was explicit: inflict deprivation on ordinary Cubans so they turn against their government. In other words, the goal of the US embargo has always been regime change, pursued with full knowledge that the suffering would fall hardest on everyday people. And yet – throughout my childhood – the dominant narrative in places like Miami insisted that the embargo either did not exist or had no real effect. Every shortage, every blackout, every empty shelf was blamed exclusively on the Cuban state. Politicians like Rubio carried this myth into Congress and sold it to the broader American public. Marathon is weird as hell — and I mean that in the best possible way. The latest game from Destiny studio Bungie mixes the slick gunplay the developer is known for with a dark, and frankly bizarre, sci-fi universe. It’s part of the burgeoning “extraction shooter” subgenre, where teams of players are dropped into a hostile environment and tasked with getting the hell out. After just a few hours with the game, I’m eager to play more, both because the core action is so satisfying and to make sense of this mystifying universe. But as much as I’m enjoying Marathon right now, I’m also wary about its future because I have no idea how long it will last. The live-service shooter space is a mess. As publishers and developers have chased the highs of Fortnite, the field has become completely volatile. And you don’t need to look very far to see that; on the same day that Marathon launched, Highguard released its final update before it shuts down for good in a week. Marathon is weird and captivating, but in this space, that’s no guarantee of success. What’s most startling is the sheer speed at which recent live-service games have been deemed failures. Wildlight Entertainment, the studio behind Highguard, said the game reached 2 million players, and yet it will shut down less than two months after it first launched. Titles from established companies are being treated the same; just a few weeks after it launched its League of Legends fighting game 2XKO, Riot laid off a chunk of the development team, saying that “the game has resonated with a passionate core audience, but overall momentum hasn’t reached the level needed to support a team of this size long term.” Even studios known for single-player games, like Alan Wake developer Remedy, have dabbled in the space with some disastrous results. Indonesia will begin restricting access to some social media platforms for users under 16 from March 28, marking one of the region’s toughest moves yet to curb children’s exposure to harmful online content. Communications and Digital Affairs Minister Meutya Hafid announced the measure on Friday, saying the government had signed a regulation that would gradually stop children under 16 from holding accounts on platforms deemed “high risk”. Hafid said the rule would apply to platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Threads, X, Bigo Live and Roblox. However, the ministry has not yet publicly set out the full compliance mechanics. Advertisement “The basis is clear. Our children face increasingly real threats.
