BING-JHEN HONG/iStock Editorial via Getty Images Yes, I think Nvidia ( NVDA ) is on sale right now. How can it be during nearly all-time-high stock price levels? I'm pasting three charts below to make this clear right from the get-go. Yes, the stock price has increased by a lot during the last couple of years. But it wasn't the only metric that grew. Just look at the chart of EBITDA estimates for the next FY. I see they exceeded $100B in July 2024, but now? They are as high as $325B. That's why I think NVDA trades at actually a very attractive valuation. The last chart shows forward-looking P/E levels, which haven't been as attractive (meaning low) as they are since April 2025 last year. Data by YCharts Due to NVDA's very dynamic development, its earnings keep growing at a much faster pace than its valuation. As a result, I see its forward P/E multiple dropped from the 35-45x range to just 20-25x. The last time I saw these levels was in April 2025, when I published one of my best performing articles about NVDA: Nvidia Stock Is Oversold, Here's Why . Yes, the stock price was much lower then. But so were NVDA's earnings. As for the forward P/E ratio, it was similar to what I see today. Seeking Alpha What was the result? I managed to generate over 100% return on that strong buy rating. It outperformed the broad index by nearly 3x times. As I see the P/E ratio dropped to similar levels, and with several very positive business news I'd like to discuss, I decided to prepare a follow-up coverage. My last article was published in February 2026 and has generated ~12% since, also outperforming S&P500 ( SPY ) by nearly 3x times. You can see the article here . Nvidia Has Great Potential Through 2027 (and Ahead) $1T potential through 2027 I know, many analysts shared their excitement about that number. But I'd like to just add something. In my view, these expectations show Jensen's thinking behind the demand for NVDA's products. It isn't just strong. Or growing. It's durable, an...

Welcome to Going Private , I’m Sinead Cruise and this is Bloomberg’s twice-weekly newsletter about private markets and the forces moving capital away from the public eye. Today, we look at the latest calls for a shake-up in valuations, a South Korean regulatory push in private credit and the latest instalment of the Bloomberg Intelligence Private Markets Investor survey. But first we bring you news of an unusual legal decision impacting the antitrust probe underway at KKR . If you’re not already on our list, sign up here . Have feedback? Email us at goingprivate@bloomberg.net Crackdown KKR & Co has handed over private communications with its lawyers to US authorities investigating whether the private capital giant intentionally withheld information on deals from antitrust enforcers. The Justice Department reviewed documents typically protected from disclosure by attorney-client privilege following a confidential ruling by US District Judge James Boasberg last year, people familiar with the matter told my colleagues Josh Sisco, Allison McNeely and Leah Nylen . The civil case filed in January 2025 is the largest-ever enforcement action over filings that companies submit to the government for antitrust review. Under US law, all mergers and acquisitions that meet certain thresholds must be notified to antitrust enforcers and the companies must wait 30 days before closing. Those filings, required under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Act , are the focus of the KKR probe. The Justice Department said in its lawsuit that KKR systematically failed to provide full information about the antitrust implications of its acquisitions, including allegedly altering documents in some instances. KKR maintains that any mistakes on the merger filings were unintentional. It has called the Biden-era case politically motivated and said the Justice Department was pursuing an ideological agenda against private equity. The parties have previously discussed a settlement last year of the civil lawsuit see...

Globe theatre, London A spunky Helena and an inspired Puck elicit cheers and laughter in Emily Lim’s generous, creative and clever show I can’t remember the last time I got the giggles in the theatre but director Emily Lim’s joyful take on A Midsummer Night’s Dream just about undid me. It’s generous, creative and clever, always with an eye to making the audience feel included. With gloriously extravagant costumes (concept by Fly Davis), a set that spontaneously blooms from designer Aldo Vázquez, hearty folk music by Jim Fortune and effervescent comic performances, this is the rarest of things: a Dream the whole family can enjoy. Just cover the kids’ eyes for the slightly naughtier bits. The Globe is the perfect space for Lim who has spent much of her career folding drama and community together, particularly on the National Theatre’s Public Acts project. The audience interaction elements aren’t just a fun add-on here but a vital part of the show. In fact, we’re so fully integrated into the action that in the closing scenes, one happy spectator – as part of a brilliant running gag – joins Puck on stage for a hand-tying ceremony to spontaneous cheers all round. tadamichi Church & Dwight Co. ( CHD ) reported revenue rose 0.1% year-over-year in Q1 to $1.47B. Organic sales increased 5.4% for the New Jersey-based company in the consumer domestic segment due to volume growth of +5.5%, which was partially offset by price and product mix. Organic growth in Theabreath mouthwash and toothpaste, Arm & Hammer cat litter, Hero, and Oxiclean was partially offset by declines in Waterpik flossers. Reported consumer domestic sales also included growth from the Touchland acquisition offset by the sales impact from last year’s strategic portfolio actions. Organic sales rose 3.7% in the consumer international segment, led by the Hero, Batiste, and Therabreath brands. Adjusted gross margin was up 130 basis points during the quarter to 46.4% of sales. The improvement was driven by higher volume, productivity, and a favorable mix from our acquisitions and portfolio actions, partially offset by higher inflation and tariff costs. As of March 31, Church & Dwight's ( CHD ) total debt was $2.2B and cash-on-hand was $503M. "The strong cash flow and balance sheet provide the Company robust liquidity and flexibility as we continue to pursue additional acquisitions and invest in growth opportunities," highlighted the company. For 2026, Church & Dwight ( CHD ) expects volume-driven organic sales growth of approximately 3% to 4% and EPS growth of +5% to +8%. "We are confident that our relentless focus on innovation will continue to drive industry-leading growth, distribution gains at shelf, and market share expansion. New product launches this year are expected to account for half of our organic growth as we innovate in key categories across our portfolio of industry-leading, everyday products," stated CEO Rick Dierker. Shares of Church & Dwight ( CHD ) rose 2.2% in premarket action. The household products stock is up close to 16% on a year-to-date basis. Bombshell Sexual-Harassment Suit Against JPM's Lorna Hajdini Called "Complete Fabrication" The British tabloid newspaper Daily Mail first broke the story earlier this week about a former JPMorgan staffer who claimed that an executive director on JPM's leveraged finance team turned him into a "sex slave" by drugging him with Rohypnol and Viagra, according to a bombshell lawsuit. However, it now appears that the sexual harassment suit was "fabricated," according to a new report. The New York Post reported late Thursday that Chirayu Rana, now a principal at Bregal Sagemount, filed the suit under the pseudonym "John Doe," alleging that Lorna Hajdini drugged him, forced him to have sex, and threatened his bonus. "Rana has been accused of making fabricated sexual-harassment claims against a high-ranking executive at the bank after an internal investigation found no evidence of wrongdoing ," the NYPost said, citing sources. Hajdini's lawyers issued this statement to NYPost: " Lorna categorically denies the allegations . She never engaged in any inappropriate conduct with this individual of any kind and has never even been to the location where the alleged sexual assault supposedly took place." Rana apparently filed an internal complaint in May 2025 with JPM, alleging race- and gender-based harassment and abuse of power before his exit. During this time, he allegedly tried to negotiate a payoff that ran into the "millions," sources said. He also accused JPM of retaliation and of failing to investigate properly. A JPM spokesperson told the outlet that its HR and legal teams reviewed phone records and emails, and interviewed employees, but found no merit to the claims. The bank said Rana refused to participate in the investigation or provide key facts. " Following an investigation, we don't believe there's any merit to these claims ," the spokesperson said. "While numerous employees cooperated with the investigation, the complainant refused to participate and declined to prov...

BalkansCat/iStock Editorial via Getty Images Through a series of acquisitions, Franklin Resources, Inc. ( BEN ) has transformed from a value-oriented asset manager into a diversified platform with ~$1.7 trillion managed across asset classes like equities (40%), fixed income (26%), and alternatives (17%). Franklin Resources Despite its enhanced scale, Franklin Resources has been a perennial underperformer through the years. As I highlighted before , some of this was down to challenged industry dynamics, as fee rates continue to compress and clients rotate out of higher-fee active funds into lower-fee passive funds. But idiosyncratic issues, for instance, poor acquisitions and integration ( Western Asset Management being a case in point), haven’t helped either. Data by YCharts Still, these concerns have been well-known for some time now. Instead, the market has begun assigning credit to a turnaround at Franklin over the last year. This week’s earnings update only added to the optimism, driving another big pop in the stock price. In fact, if you’d held BEN for the last year, you’d be up nearly 60% on your investment, all while clipping a steady ~4% dividend yield. Data by YCharts The question then is, has the Franklin story become investable again? An Impressive Quarter for Flows There are really two key drivers to Franklin’s top line: 1) fund flows and 2) the % fee it charges on those flows. For a long time, both were headed in the wrong direction. Acquisitions like Western Asset Management, which suffered some very significant redemptions due to alleged misconduct by star manager Ken Leech, only exacerbated this trend. The good news, judging by Franklin’s more recent assets under management (or AUM) updates, is that the worst is likely over. To recap, the headline “long-term net inflows” (i.e., flows excluding short-term cash movements net of outflows) was positive yet again at +$16.9bn in fiscal Q2 2026. More importantly, adjusting out the troubled Western Asset Man...

April 29 was, arguably, the most important day of the second quarter for Wall Street -- and I'm not talking about the four members of the "Magnificent Seven" that reported their operating results on that date. It marked the final Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meeting with Jerome Powell as Fed chair. May 15 represents the end of Powell's second term as Fed chair, and presumably paves the way for President Donald Trump's nominee to succeed Powell, Kevin Warsh , to begin his first term. For the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJINDICES: ^DJI) , S&P 500 (SNPINDEX: ^GSPC) , and Nasdaq Composite (NASDAQINDEX: ^IXIC) , this shift may constitute a dubious turning point.
