During last year, the Vareš mine in Bosnia & Herzegovina was also added to the portfolio from the acquisition of Adriatic Metals, which closed in Q3 2025 . Later this decade, DPM Metals is expected to have substantial growth from the development project Čoka Rakita in Serbia, where permitting is presently ongoing. SOC Investment Group, an adviser to union-affiliated pension funds, is urging US regulators to probe SpaceX ’s financials ahead of a Wall Street debut that could value the company at more than $2 trillion, citing concerns over its relationships with Elon Musk ’s other ventures. In a letter to the US Securities and Exchange Commission dated May 6, the Washington, D.C.-based group asked the agency to review SpaceX’s financial disclosures for accuracy and reliability, and make sure the rocket manufacturer’s auditor remains independent. SOC also urged the SEC to scrutinize the accounting of SpaceX’s transactions with other Musk companies, including xAI and Tesla Inc. “We are specifically concerned that SpaceX’s IPO will expose numerous investors — many unwillingly – to a company whose value may decline once its financial disclosures can be independently assessed and verified,” the letter said. SOC is not a SpaceX shareholder. The group has previously taken on Tesla to ensure corporate responsibility, as well as other high-profile companies , with some success. In 2022, for example, JPMorgan Chase & Co. agreed to a third-party audit of its $30 billion racial-equity commitment after the group took up the matter. SOC’s letter follows a similar request from the American Federation of Teachers, urging the SEC to closely review SpaceX’s targeted valuation, accounting practices and governance, as several board members are close Musk allies. And by the time you get past perhaps the top 50 names, the rest are just throw-ins, with no ability to move the index much? Here, the week after the Kentucky Derby brought us one of most inspiring, feel-good stories in sports this decade, I’m writing about an ETF that is one of my “top 10” in that it is part of my ROAR 10 ETF Model portfolio. That’s the one in which I own the same 10 ETFs all the time, but I vary the portfolio weights based on their technical/chart attractiveness at any point in time. Among those is one I use to complement QQQ and DIA, the other pure equity ETFs in the mix. And in the world of small cap stocks, this one targets US stocks which are not simply undersized. They are jockey-sized. And with each passing week, I see them becoming more attractive. It’s the iShares Micro-Cap ETF ( IWC ), and it provides exposure to the very smallest tier of the US equity market. These companies are so small they are often ignored by institutional analysts and passive index funds alike. That might just be a timely idea right now. For how long, we’ll see. Overall revenues could justify the spend – yet it’s unclear how much will accrue to the tech companies driving the buildout. We also see this as a great time for active investing. 2. With a growing hosting footprint and new data center capacity coming online over the coming years, I believe Riot Platforms is well positioned to undergo this paradigm shift towards a more sustainable business model, particularly if the organization can gain additional large-scale tenants for its Corsicana site that’s currently under development. Given the strong long-tailed growth outlook, I am reiterating my Strong Buy rating for RIOT shares with a price target of $28.60/share at 8.58x eF28 price/sales. Riot Platforms Operational Update Corporate filings Riot Platforms kicked off Q1 ’26 with its first quarter of data center revenue streaming in as part of its hosting partnership with AMD generating $33mm in segment revenue for a gross margin of 7%. Data center revenue amounted to $900k in operating lease revenue and $32.2mm in tenant fit-out service revenue. The tenant fit-out service is essentially a cost reimbursement program that bears no capital risk to Riot Platforms. The operating lease revenue can be considered as the recurring revenue component of the segment, which should scale as Riot Platforms builds out the 50MW of data center capacity for AMD. Assuming that $900k is equivalent to 5MW of capacity over just north of 2 months, this should scale to $27mm in annualized revenue once the 25MW of capacity is built out and $54mm when scaled to 50MW.
