"Squatty Potty" Millionaire Charged With Possession Of Child Porn Hoard Robert Edwards, the inventor of the "Squatty Potty" and a contestant on the show "Shark Tank", has been charged with the possession of a digital hoard of child pornography materials including videos and images. Edwards, 50, was arrested for allegedly buying and receiving countless images of child sexual abuse between March 2021 and November 2025, the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the District of Utah announced Monday. The entrepreneur was indicted by a federal grand jury Feb. 10 and arrested Feb. 12 in Washington County, Utah. In March 2021, an undercover FBI agent joined a group chat used to trade child abuse materials. In the group chat, there was a meeting room where members viewed a collection of the horrific content being streamed, federal authorities detailed. Participants, including a user later identified as Edwards, were visible in the meeting, according to the DOJ. In May 2025, FBI agents also learned that Edwards may have purchased additional illicit materials through his PayPal account, which was flagged for four suspicious transactions. In November, law enforcement executed a search warrant on Edwards and his home and confiscated multiple devices that “contained videos and images of child sexual abuse material,” some of which was downloaded only two weeks prior, officials alleged. Edwards reportedly lives with his male partner and "co-parents" four children. There is no information on their status, and he refers to them as his "step children". Robert Edwards is best known for his appearance on Shark Tank with his mother, in which he pitched his idea for a foot rest designed to help people with bowel movements. Interestingly, one member of the Shark Tank board was noted as saying there was "something" about Edwards that she did not trust because of his odd and shifty behavior. Her observation might have been more prescient than she realized. Squatty Potty is also known for cutting ties w...

Carlo Prearo/iStock via Getty Images The last time I spoke about Ironwood Pharmaceuticals ( IRWD ), it was with respect to a Seeking Alpha article entitled " Ironwood Pharmaceuticals: Q3 of 2024 Data Readout For PBC ." With respect to this article, I mentioned a huge opportunity that the company had where it had the potential to exercise its option for exclusive access to a drug known as CNP-104 for the treatment of patients with primary biliary cholangitis [PBC]. I had given the stock a "Buy" rating on this potential, along with sales of LINZESS [linaclotide] increasing. Today, I'm downgrading this stock from a "Buy" rating to a "Sell." There are several reasons for doing so at this present time, which I'm about to go over now. The first reason is because the hope was that once Ironwood saw the data of CNP-104 treating patients with PBC, it would like what it saw. Furthermore, it would choose to exercise its option to exclusively license CNP-104 for the treatment of these liver disease patients. Unfortunately, that's not what happened at all. Upon observing the topline data from COUR Pharmaceutical Development Company, Inc. [COUR], Ironwood notified it on September 27, 2024 [ Pipeline Update subsection note under CNP-104 ] that it would not exercise its option to acquire an exclusive license to CNP-104. This pipeline setback is the first reason for the downgrade rating. The second reason is because the hope is that LINZESS sales would continue to increase, but something bad happened with earnings the other day. It was noted that sales decreased by 6% to $864.5 million in 2025 compared to that of 2024, with sales of $916.3 million. It believes that LINZESS had fallen short because of the phasing of gross-to-net rebate reserves and pricing headwinds for Medicare Part D. It is bullish, with a projection of a 30% increase in full-year 2026 LINZESS U.S. sales to be between $1.125 and $1.175 billion. Despite this, it remains to be seen if it can actually execute such an ...

new look casting/iStock via Getty Images I've become "Neutral" on ACV Auctions Inc. ( ACVA ). I'm unexcited by both its performance and outlook. In the fourth quarter last year, its revenue expansion moderated despite delivering above-consensus EBITDA. Looking forward, a top-line increase in the teens for FY2026 is only achievable by re-investing a proportion of its profits. My prior September 29, 2025 write-up highlighted its data-related division's potential for the long haul. EBITDA Beat Was Obscured By Growth Deceleration The firm issued an 8-K filing revealing its recent financials on Monday, Feb 23. ACVA's topline rose 15.1% year-on-year for Oct-Dec '25. That's a step down from the 4Q24 and 3Q25 increases of +34.8% and +16.5%, respectively. I noted in the earlier Sep '25 update that "ACVA is seizing a larger slice of the wholesale auto market thanks to industry consolidation." This thesis is still intact. But its rivals are gaining more ground. The group's 4Q2025 "marketplace units" defined as "the number of vehicles transacted" were a modest 5.5% higher YoY based on its results slides . OPENLANE's ( OPLN ) domestic volumes went up a far superior 20%+ during the same timeframe. ACVA also did better in the past. Its respective unit growth rates in the preceding quarter and FY2024 were +10% and +24%. At the analyst briefing , the enterprise explained, "we were harder on sellers who were giving us overpriced cars." It also emphasized "the hiring and training to really get the national footprint I'd like in place right now." It's reasonable for me to infer that ACV was previously impacted by platform optimization and labor constraints. On the flip side, its EBITDA-to-revenue widened 60bps YoY to 4.2% for 4Q25. This resulted in quarterly EBITDA surpassing the sell-side's forecast by 30%, according to S&P Capital IQ. My view is that ACVA boosted margins with an increased contribution from more profitable businesses and good expense control. The normalized "Operating...

Pla2na/iStock via Getty Images Back in May of 2025, we saw an opportunity to trade Papa John's International, Inc. ( PZZA ) stock. It was the type of short-term to medium-term investment with large upside and less downside risk that we look for just like we do for members at BAD BEAT Invest for our highest conviction ideas. Shares enjoyed nearly 50% upside from that call, and 25% gains were made in just weeks following the call. Here we are in early 2026, and there was rumors of a takeover which took shares higher, only to be refuted . We are in the crosshairs of a GLP-1 world where weight loss has people eating less and being more health conscious. And, shares have more than reset. At $32 and below, we think you can take another shot for a swing trade here. While North American traffic is still so-so, the international expansion is positive. The company is paying a $0.46 quarterly dividend which puts the yield over 5.5% here at $31.25 at the time of this writing. The company just-reported earnings . We think it sets up for a Buy here after this valuation reset. Let us discuss. Key metrics for Papa John's Wen we analyze restaurants, there are several key metrics that we always watch. While top-line revenue for growth and the growth outlook are paramount, we think comparable sales and changes here are critical. We want to see well-controlled expenses and margin expansion, and we look to store-count changes. Despite the massive reset in shares, and data being mixed, we have come down enough to justify another swing trade attempt. Papa John's Q4 earnings beat but revenue misses Sales were down slightly from a year ago, which at first raises a red flag for us. This comes as there were expectations for flat to down growth from analysts. Revenues were $498 million, down 6.2% from a year ago. These revenues were a miss of $19.4 million. The revenue miss though was offset by expense and margins that drove a better-than-expected earnings on a per-share basis. Global system-w...

Batter will play in Friday’s match against New Zealand Winner of the game will top the group in Super 8s England have not committed to fielding their strongest side in Friday’s do-not-necessarily-have-to-win T20 World Cup encounter with New Zealand but Jos Buttler will be given the chance to turn around his miserable run of form, with the team’s coaching staff convinced that a return to familiar lofty standards is imminent. After six games at the tournament, Buttler’s top score is 26, against Nepal in England’s opener, and in their past four matches he has contributed three, three, seven and two. It is his worst run in international T20s since he followed 13 in his first ever innings with five successive single-digit scores, between February and September 2012. Continue reading...
